OUR STORY
Our team of diverse and international MBA Graduates transformed TerraceLab from a school project into reality! Founded in 2023, we are a Madrid-based startup dedicated to food awareness and improving people's food literacy through our revolutionary Farming-as-a-Service (FaaS) concept. Our passionate and cohesive team strives to urbanize farming, as we are bringing sustainable food production to city centers. By eliminating the need for vast tracts of land that are conventionally associated with farming, our compact and adaptable units democratize agriculture, making it accessible to everyone.

Guillermo Molano
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Guillermo is an electrical engineer hailing from Puerto Rico, an island that imports most of the food it consumes. This lack of self-sufficiency motivated Guillermo to think about finding viable solutions to make the island more self-reliant, and self-sufficient.
With this passion project, Guillermo went on to spend over 10 years working as a system engineer in Washington D.C. Throughout his tenure, Guillermo continued to research and brainstorm innovative ways to make cities more self-sufficient which led to the making of TerraceLab.
